*Note: The Vita-Mix 1230 Timer is identical with Vita-Mix’s home mixer the Vita-Mix 4500, with the exception of warranty period (the 1230 Timer has a 3 year warranty, whereas the home unit’s warranty is 7 year),  the 1230 Timer's container has an NSF Approved Sticker,  whereas the identical container for home use does not have that sticker, and the 1230 Timer has a timer switch whereas the 4500 does not. Other minor differences may apply.
